Light Brocade

I had a Light Brocade in my actinic trap on 28 April, and another the following night (my photos show that they were two different specimens). I guess others are catching them too, but I haven't seen them named in the Blog so I thought it worth noting.

  1. It is not a moth I've seen yet this year, John, but it doesn't appear every year in my garden out on the clay and is more likely to be encountered in the Chilterns. Despite being thought of as a species of May and June, these days it does often make its first appearances in Bucks during the last week of April.
