Yponomeutas doing well in Bucks!

I have noticed that larval webs seem to be particularly prevalent in the hedgerows between Bradenham and West Wycombe on the A4010 this year. No idea of species whilst travelling at 50mph but they seem more visible than usual.

Closer to home in Longwick I haven't trapped in the cold weather but did have my first Scalloped Hazel yesterday as well as the first Clepsis Dumicolana of the year sitting on the front door. That is around eight days later than last year so the cool easterly air flow seems to have had an effect.
