Stoke Goldington, Bucks: Yesterday I had a rather late V-Pug, and today a Merveille du Jour, but this unfamiliar Noctuid puzzled me. Is it a Dotted Rustic?
Yes, that is Dotted Rustic. It is a strange moth which has the occasional good year then seems to disappear for ages. Good to know that it is still around locally.
