Scorched Wing

Not what I was expecting at the end of August.

  1. Hi Andy,
Unusual, but not unprecedented! Locally it is mainly a moth of May and June, but in 2018 I had August and September records, then two more in August 2020. The flight period chart in the BC Atlas also suggests that it might be trying to establish a partial second brood.
