Pyrausta despicata

I had some help for this one, seems an odd thing to get.



And speaking of odd things I realised that this morning's Poplar Hawk was the first I've had this year, ditto the tatty looking Flame Shoulder.

    A nice garden record, Mark. I don't see despicata often and when I do it is usually on chalk grassland, but it can turn up anywhere.
