Psyche casta
Following on from Nigel's post last month, I found this on a rose leaf this afternoon whilst dead heading and assume that it is also Psyche casta. c1cm long. I would appreciate confirmation.

ReplyDeleteI would say so. There is an exceedingly rare species, Psyche crassiorella, with a similar case which is known only from five or six counties in the SE of the UK (but including VC22 Berkshire).
