Last night in Radnage, Bucks.

I took the chance of not catching a trap full of water last night and ended up with 47 species of Macros but little of note. Dave Wilton is probably still counting the contents of his trap but can anyone else beat 64 Middle-barred Minors? Green Silver-lines was the best of the bunch but if anyone wants to try rearing Pale Tussocks I caught 2 females.
Ched George.

  1. Impressive numbers, Ched, but no migrants? Everyone deserves to have got something from last night's rain! I haven't even looked at my trap yet but did find noctuella and a Small Mottled Willow on the lawn when I closed up the trap at 4am.

  2. 64 Middle-barred Minors! That beats my sum total here over 9 years by one.
