They are a real nuisance. I gather some of the show case gardens in France with Knot gardens have dug their box edgings out and replaced them with things like lavenders.
A huge nuisance to me too, though attractive things. I had 28 in the trap on 27 June in my Oxford garden - one of them melanic. My box bushes are almost dead.
All of our Box is either dead or been dug out - and we had a lot!. 12 box moth last week in one night.
