I think this is
Caryocolum blandella, trapped in private woodland in north Bucks last night. The distribution map on the Gelechiid Recording Society site has a large blank area in the middle of OS square SP, so it's presumably fairly scarce in Bucks?

Caryocolum blandella distribution in OS grid square SP |
Hi Phil,
ReplyDeleteNice one! It is indeed scarce in the county. I know of only three other records, one from 2008 in that magnificent source of micro records for Bucks the Burnham Beeches RIS trap, another from Langley Park in 2010 and one that I was lucky to get in another private wood in your part of the world last year.
