This turned up in the trap at the end of June and has me puzzled. I'm confused about the two white patches on each forewing. There's clearly some wear, but can anyone help?
Hi David, although a bit worn especially on its outer edges, likely to be a Large Nutmeg which often has a pale streak running through the kidney mark towards the outer edge (see example on the UTB Atlas: https://upperthamesmoths.co.uk/index.php?bf=23330&fil=a).
