Look what the wind blew in Pt 2

So in spite of the weather last night I had my trap out for GMS.

I seem to have had quite a few new for me macros this year, and last night it was this:


...which unless I am very much mistaken is the infamous Oak Processionary.

    Certainly is, Dave. Being a resident of south Bucks, where the moth seems to be well established, I'm surprised you haven't had a wandering male in your garden before now!

    No, not had at any of my traps, garden, woodland or field.
