Udea fulvalis

Found this among all the Diamond-backed Moths in the trap down in Burnham last night.  Assuming I have the ID right, just how 'scarce' are they?

  1. Quite scarce, Russ! The ID looks sound to me. Martin Albertini will be able to provide the definitive answer but I think that may well be the first for VC24. Interestingly, it follows Martin Townsend getting the first for VC23 a few weeks back (and another last night). It could be a moth "on the move" from its haunts along the south coast, or perhaps these are genuine migrants from Europe.

  2. Looks good to me Russell and a Bucks first. Well done.
