Mocha is mostly found on the chalk locally but it does wander sometimes and the larval food-plant (Field Maple) is quite widespread. I imagine it would be rather unusual in Oxford but probably not unprecedented - I've had it once in my own garden and I'm on clay about eight miles from the closest part of the Chilterns.
