Hello Andy, I'd go along with Large Nutmeg for the first, but I'd suggest the second is Rustic Shoulder-knot even though the "shoulder knots" aren't obvious.
Thank you. That makes sense. We decided to put the 20w actinic trap out despite the torrential rain and actually had quite a good catch including 5 Light Brocade which I have not had in the garden. Aso a Blackneck caterpillar was found while we were searching around the trap for adult moths.
