Rotten specimen and photo!

 Can anyone help? Spruce Carpet or even, maybe, Red-green, grey form??

    Hi David,
    Certainly either Spruce or Grey Pine (not Red-green) but most of the important bits have lost their scales so I wouldn't be happy pronouncing on that one I'm afraid!
