Another Tortrix question

 This one is a little worn. About 10.5 mm in length. Shape looks a bit like a Cydia species but I'm probably way out.

  1. Hello Andy,
    That's Eudemis profundana and I suspect it is a rather washed-out individual although the moth's colouring does vary considerably in intensity. The rather orangey rear to the thoracic crest is quite obvious in your example (chocolate brown in the otherwise rather similar but far less common E.porphyrana).
