micro questions

 Is the first one Mompha epilobiella? 6.5mm in length.

Is it now correct to record the second as Ephestia woodiella without dissection and if it is caught outdoors?

    Hi Andy,
    Yes to Mompha epilobiella. As far as the Ephestia is concerned the official line is that it will need dissection, but with that pinkish suffusion and having not been found indoors you are 99% safe with the very common woodiella. 99.5% safe in my opinion if you've already had one verified for your garden via dissection!

    I'd put the percentage even higher than 99.5%, having now chopped hndreds and hundreds of them, but include one in your next batch
