More queries

A micro and another pug (sorry) in case anyone is able to help. The micro was probably about 5-6mm in length but escaped before I managed to measure it or get a better image.

  1. Hi Andy, the micro is a Nemapogon, probably N. cloacella. Wouldn't like to say on the pug, needs a much better photo.

  2. That Nemapogon looks very black, I think it looks like a koenigi, what was wolfiella.

  3. Thank you for your help. Using the Norfolk moths website it certainly looks like the images of N. koenigi. I understand it would need dissection for confirmation. As it escaped in the house I might end up with a colony if it was female!

  4. Re the pug I've had a number of dark grey ones which on examining the photos carefully show a touch of green - so maybe a worn Green Pug?

  5. Having looked at other photos it definitely seems to have quite a green appearance so your suggestion seems likely. Thank you.
