Still working through back records here in Wolvercote, Oxfordshire, with a few uncertainties from back in June: first a probable Clouded Brindle from 8th June:
 |
Possible Clouded Brindle, 8/6/18 |
This could be a
Eucosma campoliliana from 9th June, but is rather too dark, I'd have said:

Possible Eucosma campoliliana, 9/6/18 |
A presumed pug species from 13th June - not at all convinced its markings are clear enough for an ID:
 |
Presumed pug, 13/6/18 |
Some sort of crambid from 8th June - I always find them rather tricky...
 |
Crambid sp., 8/6/18 |
And a micro from 10th June, which looks as though it should be pretty distinctive, but which I can't seem to place at all:
 |
Unknown micro, 10/6/18 |
As ever, thanks in advance for any ideas!

Hello Steve, I agree that your first moth is a Clouded Brindle and the crambid is Eudonia lacustrata. The other images are not clear enough to give a firm ID but you have a Gypsonoma (not Eucosma), a likely faded Green Pug and then another Gypsonoma (probably minutana).
ReplyDeleteThanks, Dave -- some there I really should have got...
