A few years ago this would have been easy - Dicranopalpus ramosus. However, there is another very similar species in the same genus that has been found in the UK in the last couple of years. As yet the distribution has not been established, or whether it has only come to the UK recently. So it has to go down as Dicranopalpus sp. Even if we knew the distribution of the two species it wouldn't be possible to tell which from this photo.
It’s a harvestman
ReplyDeleteHi Alan, I'm no expert but your harvestman may be Leioobunum rotundum or perhaps Dicranopalpus ramosus.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks both.
