There was a fairly average collection of moths to the garden actinic trap over each of the past two nights, with about 50 species both times and 224 individual moths last night (Setaceous Hebrew Character topping the bill at 44).  New for the year-list on the 12th were Agonopterix liturosa, Agriphila geniculea and Pale Mottled Willow (unusually I didn't see a single first-brood specimen here this year).  Last night there was just a single addition, a rather tired-looking migrant Scarce Bordered Straw which nonetheless was still very frisky!
