Yes, Ruby Tiger is fine! From the top, the rest are Red Twin-spot Carpet, don't know, Acrobasis advenella and Dwarf Cream Wave (assuming the size fits).
I know we've had a lot of really small moths this year due probably to their food-plant becoming too dessicated in this hot weather, but an indication of size (= forewing length) is always really helpful when trying to come to a decision about identity.

Thanks Dave. Yes, the moth you're calling a dwarf cream wave was very small, so it does fit. I'll try to add sizes in future.
ReplyDeleteDo you want to try "fill in flash" with the photos, so they have a better chance of truer colours? Might also improve the depth of focus too.
