Garden Lifer!

Never seen any Clearwing species before, but I was looking at the bees on my Cotoneaster when I came across this. No lures involved, just flowers!

    Knowing how many currant bushes you have in your garden I am surprised you haven't had it before lol.

      I actually only have one blackcurrant and a fairly recent goosberry; the redcurrant died a while back. By that reckoning, though, I should be overrun by Raspberry Clearwings!
