New reserve records

I'm having fun finding moths during the day. Highlights over the last few days have been what I think is Endothenia nigricostana at BBOWT Dancersend - if so, a new reserve record...

... and a wonderful mating pair of Hornet moths at BBOWT Warburg Reserve - new one for me and for the reserve!

  1. Hi Mick, that is indeed a very nicely marked nigricostana (they can be far more obscure-looking than that!). They tend to sit around during the daytime on hedge woundwort so always worth searching for if you see the plant.
