Larva ID

This was found indoors wandering around our hallway on 29th May. Pretty sure it is Heart & Dart, but would appreciate correction/confirmation. As you can see from the photos, it refused to align with the ruler, but was approx. 20mm in length.

    Hi Peter, after looking through Jim Porter's book Reg's site is always my next stop. The images on there were very close, which helped to narrow things down somewhat, but the colours were a better match on the site I mentioned.

    Try Hoplodrina species (Rustic, Uncertain or Vine's) but you'll have to rear it to be certain that it is or isn't an Uncertain :-)

    Thanks Martin, not quite sure why I bypassed the Hoplodrinas. As it was released it'll remain in the 'Uncertain' category.
