Anarsia innoxiella spreads to Berkshire

During the night of 23-24 June, David Short in Windsor found a micro-moth that didn't seem to be in his book, and after some online detective work he arrived at the conclusion it was Anarsia innoxiella (family Gelechiidae). I agree, and this is the first record for Berkshire!

This moth seems to be spreading at the moment, with a number of recent records around the south-west edge of London. The first Bucks record was in 2015.

Another new moth to look out for!
