Ethmia dodecea

 Ethmia dodecea turned up last night, first time here.

    Nice one. This is another species which seems to be spreading and could turn up just about anywhere locally now, perhaps bolstered by migration. I've been getting it annually in the garden since 2015 and the first of the year turned up here last night too, although I've already had it in Bernwood Forest and Yardley Chase over the past week or two.

  2. I also had a Bordered Straw so maybe it's coming from migration.
