A Blog for moth recorders in Bucks, Berks and Oxon
I suppose the pug could be an obscure Shaded but the micro has baffled me (f/w 7mm). Help would be appreciated.

Hello Dave,The tortrix is a Spilonota (that triangular black blotch at two-thirds should point you in the right direction) and to me it looks closest to the very common Spilonota ocellana. I would have said the Pug was Freyer's.
Thanks for the comments Dave.
