Still a bit thin on the ground up here in North Bucks in the cold north-easterly airflow, but persistence has paid off (I think) with a garden fist (15 years) Luquetia lobella. I'm assuming this is a reasonably local species, as there are as yet no Bucks iRecord records.
Hi Keith,
ReplyDeleteA nice catch. There are just under 30 records for Bucks so it isn't at all common, but the sites do cover most of the county (including Newton Longville and Lavendon in your part of the world) so it is presumably fairly widespread. It appears sporadically in the garden here at Westcott and had a "good" year in 2022 when I had three to light during June.
