Bryotropha sp.?



I think this is Bryotropha affinis. FL ~5.5mm, found indoors tonight, but would appreciate confirmation...or otherwise.

    I'd agree with you, Phil. The black spots (with lighter scales behind them) seem to be in the correct places for affinis and the size fits. It is also very common. I think the most likely confusion species would be basaltinella which, so far at least, has only been found in the southern half of the county.
