A surprise arrival of Mocha's in Longwick

Having lived in the house in Longwick for over twenty years I was surprised to see a Mocha outside the trap when I went to bed last night - a new species for me and the house. I duly potted it for photography the next day. Imagine my surprise when I found two more inside the trap this morning!

Mocha aside there were a few migrants including Dark Swordgrass, Rush veneer and Diamond back plus a Maple Pug for the first time this year. The Mocha's varied in both size and intensity of colour a most attractive moth!
