Last night in Chorleywood..

The humid night was good for moths and I'm past sixty species and still counting.  One moth I have not seen for a while and is new for my back garden,  but was present last night, is Gold Spot:

The following one got me going and is new for me: Practically the last Family I could think of checking was Blastobasidae..

Blastobasis rebeli.

  1. Very nice indeed! Martin will need to confirm but I think rebeli could well be a first for Bucks.

  2. Very nice - good specimen - I wonder how easy they would be to identify if worn, like so many B. adustella seem to be by now?!
