One that got away

This small micro (c. 4mm) flew immediately the photo was taken

Are there enough clues to identify it?

    I wouldn't like to say for sure just from that photo, but I think Nigel may well be correct with Scythropia crataegella.

  3. Hi Dave, not the best angle for the identifying as you know, but one of Andy King's photos on the moth dissection site, which is from overhead, looks a good match.
