A new macro for me was this Crescent on 3/4 August. My MK garden is 5 miles from nearest wetland but there are Yellow Flags at nearby small ponds. Would they breed there or is it a wanderer?

ReplyDeleteThat's a nice surprise! It could easily be a hot-weather wanderer from one of the MK reed-beds but it isn't restricted to that kind of habitat so might well be breeding closer to you if the food-plants are available.
