Spectacle

In spite of its name, could this moth with the Shaun the Sheep eyes be a Dark Spectacle? If so, it would be a garden first.

    Yes, Dave, that's Shaun the Dark Spectacle. Sightings have become more and more regular in the county in recent years (multiple annual sightings since about 2016, whereas before that it was rarely recorded) so the moth may well be established in the area now rather than being an immigrant.
