Moths in the last week

I’ve had a few nice moths in the last few days. This Toadflax Brocade was on Thursday night, I did had not realised there were still so few Bucks records.

Also on Thursday a couple of scarce micros with only 10 or so records of each, Bucculatrix ulmella.

And Pseudococcyx posticana, a Scot’s Pine feeder, there is one large tree close by.  Thanks to Dave Wilton for confirming the ID of these two.

A Light Brocade this morning was a pleasant surprise and first for the year.

Finally, I’ve always wondered where Hawk-moths spend the daylight hours, this Small Elephant was hanging out in our Wisteria
