The moth in the attached photo was on my trap in Wolvercote, Oxfordshire, last night; I kept hold of it, and had a look at it this morning. On the face of it, it looks like a decent candidate for Seraphim, a species which seems to be having a good year: as for several others, this would be a lifer for me. I can't see what else it would be, but is there something obvious I'm missing?

Hello Steve,
ReplyDeleteYes, that's Seraphim.
Excellent -- thanks, Dave. I couldn't see any other obvious possibilities, but that's happened before only for other possibilities to emerge nonetheless...
