Good, the wind has at last gone round to the west, signalling warmer nights. Ten species pitched up to the actinic light last night and it was good to see
Emmelina monodactyla, Shoulder Stripe, Streamer & Red Chestnut in addition to the usual fleet of Orthosias. New for the garden year-list, Streamer can be a really stunning moth when fresh (there are very few species with a hint of blue in their colouring).
