Avoided treading on this moth sitting on a primrose leaf in my 'lawn' in Jordans yesterday. Trying and so far failing to identify it - hope someone can help please!
Yes, it is a bit of a misnomer really because alder isn't its only larval food-plant! The moth is fairly widespread in woodland across all three of our counties.
