Toadflax Brocade

Only 8 moths in my trap this morning but two of them were Toadflax Brocades.  This species has become a regular visitor here over the past few years:

  1. I wish you'd spread them around a bit more, Richard - there are getting on for 30 records in Bucks now and about half seem to be from your garden! They still appear to be keeping fairly close to urban areas with all the Bucks records being from the south of the county or around Milton Keynes.

  2. Well, there is Toadflax growing on Chorleywood Common, which is not a million miles from Richard's back garden. (I have looked for the caterpillars there, but not found them).
