Agdistis sp

This greeted me this morning on the shed door opposite the Robinson trap I run in my garden in Newport Pagnell.  I understand that it could be one of three but would require dissection to discover which it is.  Should I retain the specimen?

  1. Please keep, Gordon. It'll likely be bennetii which does occasionally wander from its usual salt-marsh habitat, but it would be good to be sure. There are three Bucks records for it (even one just down the road from you by George Higgs in Willen) but none post-millennium, so it is a really good find!
