Gypsy Moth and ???

 Pleased to get a Gypsy moth this morning, something I've wanted to see for over 50 years. Also compensation for probably my worst trapping year so far.



Can someone help me with this one? It has me completely stumped. I still have it.

    Hi Mark, like you I caught my first Gypsy Moth last night. Your micro looks like Teleiopsis diffinis, have a look at the second image on UK Moths. I'm not totally sure, so best to wait until others comment.

    I agree with Teleiopsis diffinis, quite a good garden record.
