Another new parish record in the Robinson trap at Ali's Pond LNR in Sonning last night after 25 years of trapping locally - Hedge Rustic. Is this an unusual record at all? Also had what I assume to be an aberrant Riband Wave indoors last night - can anyone confirm ?
Hedge Rustic is uncommon in Berkshire, with 83 records up to the end of 2019, and no records received since 2018 (unless there are some in my backlog), so good to see this one.
Assuming the wave is an appropriate size for Riband then that does seem to be the best match for it - an odd one though.

Yes it was on the small side, but I have seen a few typical form Riband Waves that size so assume that's what it was.
