Hi Despite being distinctive I've been unable to find identification for this one in my Jordans trap last week so would be grateful for help please! Many thanks
Metalampra italic. There was one posted a few days ago. First in the UK in 2003 with first Bucks in 2015, less than 10 Bucks sites so far. Larvae in decaying wood.
Of interest, I swept two out of Yew in Egypt Woods a couple of weeks ago and caught two in Dorneywood in a rained off session 11th August. Plenty of decaying wood there! I also had one in the garden on 10th August. Is that three more sites?

Deleteshould have added that we have plenty of decaying wood in this garden!

ReplyDeleteYes, 3 new sites although two are close to one of the existing sites of Burnham Beeches.
