A build-up of micros

I am getting rather overwhelmed with micros at present especially Tortricidae. To help catch up help with any of the following would be most appreciated.

1. Possibly Celypha cespitana? 9mm Caught 3/7

2. Possibly Ancylis achatana? 10mm

3. Unknown 6mm

4. Unknown 10mm

5. Unknown 7mm

6. Possible Pammene fasciana 10mm

7. Probably not a moth! Tiny only 4mm long.

  1. Hi Andy,

Yes, it is great to see that the micros have come to life this year at last, isn't it?! Your first is Celypha cespitana/rivulana but I have difficulty telling those two apart from photos - that's one for Peter. Then you have a rather worn Ancylis achatana, Grapholita janthinana/lobarzewskii (size could be either), Ptycholomoides aeriferana, Grapholita lobarzewskii (I think, size fits), Pammene fasciana and a micro-caddis.

  2. Thank you that is really helpful. It is great to get a good mixture of micros but they do seem to come all at once!
