Apart from the first one which was in my garden, I ran a trap at COAM for their Garden event to show visitors a few of the moths they might find in their gardens. Didn't get a lot (although there was at least a Poplar Hawkmoth - large showy things are always popular.
But, the lbj's less so, and there are a few I'm struggling to id. Doesn't really help that I've mislaid my books either. Any help gratefully received.

ReplyDeleteI'll have a stab at these: probably Large Nutmeg for the first, then Anania perlucidalis, Monopis obviella/crocicapitella, Mottled Rustic and what might be a late Rustic Shoulder-knot.
