Pammene aurana

I put out the VES lure in my garden this afternoon, and within 5 minutes I saw a small moth fly around and then enter the pheromone trap. It turned out to be Pammene aurana, a new addition to the garden list.
No clearwings made an appearance today, but the Pammene made up for it. Steve Trigg, Cookham

  1. Hi Steve,
Nice one! Pammene aurita is known to come to this lure and I doubt that the pheromone for aurana is much different.
