Hi Jeremy, The plume image would need to be clearer to be certain of the ID but it is almost certainly Emmelina monodactyla, while the other moth is Scrobipalpa costella.
Thanks Dave, I think the brownish on the wing confused me with the plume. Not many moth species in my garden, just picking up now, including a first Green oak Tortrix for the garden, not aware of any oak nearby.
