Plume in Longwick

I don't seem to get many plumes beyond the usual monodactyla, white and Beautiful so the pictured plume stood out. It has a w/l of 9 or 9.5 mm. Any thoughts welcome.

Ironically no Privet Hawks today but oddly 9 Leopards!

  1. Hi Andrew, I think it's Marasmarcha lunaedactyla.

  2. Agreed, it appears all over the place. I saw it in a Milton Keynes wood two nights ago.

  3. Thanks both. I can see it now! The individual in the field guide was a little more rufous than mine which led me to overlook it.
