The micro is Anarsia innoxiella which isn't in the micro field guide because it was only described as a species a couple of years ago. It had previously been confused with Anarsia lineatella (the Peach Twig Borer).
Hi Andy. The micro seems to be Anarsia innoxiella. This is a newly-described moth (Gegersen & Karsholt, 2017), previously confused with A. lineatella. I only know this because Dave Wilton pointed me to it when I caught one a month or so ago.

ReplyDeleteDave got his post in while I was pecking ineptly on my phone!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for your help (both of you!) At least you both gave the same answer. I'm glad I'm not the only one who fumbles around with a mobile phone.
